"Is a projection of who I am and how I got here. A shelter, full of moments
in which each work means something"

Art is a trace of time and has left us a fantastic legacy.  It is a tool that is constantly reused, reinvented and transformed, and that generates its own language that reveals my unique personality.  That is my work, I do not try to pigeonhole it in any place that displaces or nullifies others. Despite the disparity of the characters, the subtle and the grotesque, there is a common thread that is breathed when you enter my space.

I am Basque, by birth, and I am because the place where we are children defines an important part of who we are.  Since then, my infinite curiosity has set my feet in many places around the world.  That trip brought me to Mexico 18 years ago.  Now I paint, draw, sculpt or write looks, mine and those of the characters that captivate me; but always mine.

My proposal is to take the time, whether mine or that of others, and put it in the moment and place where I am.  Sometimes it is just a change of scale, other times it is a cry for injustice, or an absolute devotion to beauty, to character, to what makes us strong and fragile at the same time. Perfection and fracture are two sides of the same coin.

Warhol, Banksy, masks, the Revolution or “Spaghetti Westerns” are elements, among many others, that are there to be used without fear, that I bring from “there to here”, that look at me.  The gallery is me, my whole, transparent “me”, sometimes it is not comfortable, it is brutally selfish, temperamental, conflictive, and wants to be in that small group of the world's population that does not work for money because it has it, because to be able to choose is everything.

My work is a continuous game in which I have fun. I do it because I can and because I want to.

Time just passes, but it is everything until it isn't.
